Hi
I am in the process of planning a project. The project involves using virtual machine servers hosted in Windows Azure data centre's located in three geographic regions namely the USA, UK(London) and Asia(HK or Singapore). The VM servers will have an installation of a CRM database which uses Sybase as its database and will also need storage space for documents linked in the CRM database that will need document level replication between all three sites.
Would it be possible to have VPN's established between the VM's in each location so that the databases can replicate between each other bidirectional syncing. I know that the database can to the syncing/replication as the development team do this regularly. However I need to know if their are any limitations in the Azure environment that would rule out using Azure to do the project.
Could we also setup up one external url that would send the user to the nearest database location based on ip location?
Kind regards
Justin
