Hello all,
I surfed the net for a long time and I don't get any result. What I have read is that if I put 2 or more virtual machines into availability set, they will be placed into different fault zone and it can prevent planned or unplanned shutdown of VMs, and that can prevent my sites' downtime.
What I want to know is that do I need to manage every virtual machines from availability set? Let's say I have two VMs in availability set and I enabled one server feature in one VM, do I need to login to another VM and enable it manually?
As a human being, I'm sure we could forget to update second VM at some point.
If it is true, is there a way to replicate Virtual machines in windows azure? I found some articles about replicating VMs but those were for replicating on premise server to azure cloud.
And if there is an article of how to configure IIS for virtual machines in availability set for same web site, please provide me a link. I couldn't find one. I only see articles that say both VMs can serve the same web server role. How?
Thanks in advanced
