Error creating SharePoint Farm Resource Group

I'm trying to create a SharePoint Farm in Azure using the new Resource Groups as documented by Keith Mayers on his TechNet blog this past week.

When doing so, the create always fails with an error that looks like:

statusCode:Forbidden
statusMessage:{"error":{"code":"VirtualMachineOperationFailed","message":"Unable to create virtual machine 'xxxxxxxx-DC': 'You don't have permission to use this image.'."}}

where "xxxxxxxx" is the name I selected for the resource group.  I've tried several different names for resource groups (all globally unique).  And I've tried to create the group in several different locations.  All yield the same results.

Any ideas...?
