Hi All,
I am having an issue where i have an Azure VM which is set up for RDP deployment and has a couple of apps published on it and if i try to access the apps on VM from via https://machinename.domainname/rdweb internet address from WITHIN the virtual network created (so from the actual VM itself, going to IE and trying to connect) i can access the WDweb login screen, and can successfully launch apps.
There have been DNS changes made to allow the web address (https://machinename.domainname/rdweb) to be located via any external source, and i have tested this from other machines. From an external source/PC, i can get to the RDweb login screen via the web address, and can log in successfully, however when i try to launch one of the published apps, it thinks for quite a long time, then gives the error;

RemoteApp Disconnected
---------------------------
Remote Desktop can’t connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled
2) The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network
Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.

OK Help

To follow up from this, i tried to ping the address machinename.domainname from an external PC, and the request times out:
pinging machinename.domainname [public virtual IP address] with 32 bytes of data:
request times out. etc etc.
In the VM i have created end points for HTTP, HTTPS, Powershell, Remote Desktop, and SSH (using the default settings), and it definitely has Remote access enabled and is turned on and is available. I have tried switching off the firewall on the VM to test,
however there is no difference.
Can anyone please advise what may be needed here to get around this error and allow the app to launch from an external PC (and do not be afraid to give too much info as i need all the help i can get)?
thank you,
Michael.
