Can't RDP a VM created from a VHD

I want to move one of our VM from another provider to Azure. I then created a VHD with Disk2vhd, made it fixed and extended the size to a round MB with VhdTool, uploaded it to Azure Storage as Page Blob and managed to create a disk from the VHD.

Before creating the VHD I doublecheked that IP was not fixed and RDP was on and firewall rules ok.

I created a VM in Azure from gallery/My Disk and after a while it is in running state. The problem is that I cannot connect to it. I also read an old thread that suggested to change the size of the VM but it didn't work.

Am I missing anything? The OS is Win Server 2008 R2.
