Linux Disk Counters

When I look at my CentOS VM in the Azure Portal, the Disk Write Bytes/Sec and Disk Read Bytes/Sec counters are always at 0, and with the activity on this VM, that shouldn't be the case.

Is this expected for Linux VMs, or is there something I can look at to correct this?
