AD Virtual Machines Stopped Responding

We currently have 5 VMs on a virtual azure network.

  1. AD01 - Primary Domain Controller
  2. AD02 - Backup Domain Controller
  3. TFS01 - Team Foundation Server
  4. SP01 - SharePoint Server
  5. FTP01 - FTP Server

Both AD01 and AD02 became unresponsive within 24 hours of each other. We used the instructions below to provision all the VMs:

http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/manage/services/networking/active-directory-forest/

Everything was running fine for about a month and then the Active Directory servers became unresponsive. The dashboard shows the machines running however the Host Name status is stuck at "resolving...". I have tried recreating a new VM with the existing disk. RDP from a machine within the virtual network. Restarting the VMs, nothing seems to work.

I think I can download the VHD and boot it locally however the file is over 30 GB which would take awhile to download.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt
