Currently , we are configuring SharePoint 2013 hybrid search ,where if the user does a search on SharePoint online (o365) it should return results from on premise (intranet) as well. We have done all the necessary steps required(like syncing users using dirsync and configuring cert) , but are stuck at a point where we need to expose the on premise web applications so that search queries can be routed using SSL.
For the POC, we have configured our SharePoint on-prem on azure VM’s .How can I make these ip’s public so that they can be exposed and search queries can be routed there. Whom do I get in touch for such scenarios? I am using a msdn subscription where I don’t receive any technical support.
