In the Windows Azure Virtual Machine we have following configuration: -

Windows Server 2008 R2

SQL Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 2 installed

We have promoted this server to domain controller. The latest windows updates have been applied to the server. After this, when we try to install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 on this VM, it fails saying that it could not connect to the SQL Server Reporting Services.

We have checked that SQL Server Reporting Service is Up and Running on this server.

But in the browser when we try to acces the reporting server with url -http://localhost/ReportServer

it prompts the error - 404 (Resource not found on the server). In the Report Configuration Tool, the screen to set up virtual directory path is disabled.
