I created a VM from the Visual Studio Premium 2013 Update 1 image in the gallery. The VM is located on a private network and joined to an existing domain controller. I executed the PowerShell Script to create a domain joined SharePoint development environment. When I start VS 2013, it asks me to log in to my Microsoft.com account or enter an activation key. When I click to enter my MS account, the screen hangs. I get a JavaScript error and I am unable to start or get into VS 2013. I opened IE 10 and tried to login on login.live.com and I get a blank screen in IE as well. I've disabled IE ESC, set security to minimum, added live.com to trusted site. Nothing works. The login.live.com screen is blank. This only happens from inside the VM.
I've also noticed that when I navigate to google.com or bing.com, Spanish language text is displayed. My affinity is the Eastern US. I've set my region and time zones correctly on my VM. Google and Bing both think I am in Spain.
Anyway, my big issue is I cannot log in to my Microsoft Account from Visual Studio 2013 running on my VM. The VM is essentially worthless at this point because I cannot do any SharePoint Development.
Thanks,
Gene
