How do I recover my d: drive.

I changed our VM configuration from 4 CPUs to 8 CPUs and the d: drive was not there when VM rebooted.

We installed SharePoint 2010, SQL 2012 and all the applications on the d: drive so until we get the d: drive back we are unable to continue developing our project. Also we have all our project files on the d: drive.

How Can I get the d: drive back. Do you have backups? Where did it go? I did not delete it.
