Since the release of the Basic VM tier, I've been attempting to downgrade one of my VMs from Standard to Basic to reduce the cost slightly, but everytime I try it fails with the following error:
The server encountered an internal error. Please retry the request. The long running operation tracking ID was: f04bc11204068edc9747aded4c4c09af.
I've retried several times over several weeks, but fails every time. All I am doing, is going into the CONFIGURE tab, changing the option from Standard to Basic, and clicking save.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've also tried shuting the VM down before doing this, but it makes no difference.
How can I downgrade my VM to basic?
