Remote connection to VM using a network user requires cal??

Hi,

I have installed an AD machine and added a user. when I tried to connect with that user to another VM it failed. at the end i understood that I am required to install the remote desktop host role in order to remotley connect to that machine without administrative rights.

So I installed it but now it looks like i am on a 120 days trial or something, and required to provide a license server...

Is that the way or did i do something wrong here?

i just wanted to use a secure way to login to the VM (without  doing it with administrative rights when not required or local user).
