VIP_Address

Hello to all,

I am trying to make a TCP connection with the VM that i have instantiated to WA platform. The issue that i have encountered is that the VM that uses a VIP ant *no* ethernet is bounded to it as the eth0 net is bounded to an internal IP address.

Is there a way to make ethernet using the VIP that WA gives me?
Output of the ifconfig is this

eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:15:5d:34:b7:5d
          inet addr:10.78.30.35  Bcast:10.78.31.255  Mask:255.255.254.0
          inet6 addr: fe80::215:5dff:fe34:b75d/64 Scope:Link
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:1926 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:2000 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:219797 (219.7 KB)  TX bytes:308259 (308.2 KB)

lo        Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1  Mask:255.0.0.0
          inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING  MTU:16436  Metric:1
          RX packets:112 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:112 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:10640 (10.6 KB)  TX bytes:10640 (10.6 KB)

For example an to make  *eth1* with inet addr:VirtualIPAaddress that Windows Azure gives me.
