VMs and network have disappeared.

Using an MSDN Azure subscription the credit limit expired last month and the account was 'disabled'. After being renabled I've discovered that all my VMs and my virtual network have been deleted!! Now I've got to fix it all. Why would that happen? Retaining the VM config can't be that difficult can it?

I've tried recreating the VMs from the VHDs. Whilst this works I find I can't RDP to the VMs...

I tried resizing them but that didn't help. How can this be fixed quickly?

Also how do I restore the virtual network? I assume it's backed up somewhere?
