I have a Windows VM on which I have forgotten the password, and of course don't have it written down anywhere. I can't reset the password using the portal as the guest agent on the VM is broken. And of course can't fix the agent as I can't access the machine. On the VM itself, there isn't anything that needs to be saved as it only serves as an API gateway. I only need the IP as it is used by an external service provider.
Now, is it possible to create a new VM, get the IP address (Set to static) from the old VM and assign it to the new VM?
