I am having an issue with a new VM I created yesterday. I was able to establish a Site-to-Site link with my on-premises network and the Azure Virtual Network, create a VM using the Windows Server 2012, and successfully promoted it to a Domain Controller by installing Active Directory Domain Services. After the server was restarted, I was no longer able to establish a RDP session with it.
I've already tried the tricks listed on this forum and online by restarting the machine several times, and even changing the size of the VM from small to medium and back to small, with no resolution to the issue. I've read elsewhere that people are having the same issues after promoting the server to a DC.
Since I am on the 3-Month trial, I can't get any official help from Microsoft, so I am hoping someone has a solution that doesn't require me to delete the VM and start over.
