VM data disk storage cost

HI,

I need a clarification on the IaaS data disk storage cost.

Say suppose my VM has a data disk of size 1TB and it only has 20GB of data stored in the data disk.

So, How I will be charged. Is that I will be charged for the 1TB or I will be charged for the 20GB data.
