Cannot Create ANY Azure Resources (Possible MS account issue)

I'm trying to create a shared network drive that can be accessed by multiple Virtual Machines at once.
The following is occurring with these variables:
I am logged into Windows on the current PC with my Microsoft Company account, created by our system administrator.
I am logged into the Azure website with my Microsoft Company account, created by our system administrator.
I am using the most current version of Firefox, from within South Africa.

After creating the first VM and network drive, everything is fine and as expected. I ran the VM for more than a day.

About two days later, attempting to create a second VM proved futile. When attempting to do so, I am greeted with the following:

(I had a picture here but my account needs to be verified. Attempting to circumvent verification by posting a goo.gl url 3B9ZAJ )

"The selected image is not valid for the specified location. Select a different location."

This message persists regardless of the selected region and size. This message does not display when selecting a Linux image.

What I did next:

I deleted all the resources on my account as to not incur costs while I try what is to follow.

I logged out and went to the Azure portal, and clicked "Start Free". (My account isn't verified so the link had to be removed)
I entered my personal details, which includes my personal Gmail email address and credit card details. This is the account I use to log into Windows in my personal capacity, at home.
I completed authentication via OTP sent to my phone, and successfully reached the Azure dashboard.
I attempt to create a new VM, but am greeted with the following screen.

(I had a picture here but my account needs to be verified. Attempting to circumvent verification by posting a goo.gl url ktM6mz )

It is asking me to create a free account, even thought I am already logged in with my verified free account. This happens regardless of which resource I try to create, be it VM, Virtual Network, Free App etc.

I thought this may be a cookie issue, so I tried using Chrome which is not logged into a Microsoft account yet, however the same problem persists. So I try Chrome in incognito mode, but the same issue persists. So I attempt with Edge, but the same issue persists.

I go back to Firefox and change back to my company account. All my resources are gone, as expected (I deleted them earlier). When creating a new VM as I did two days ago, I am greeted with the same message as earlier, "The selected image is not valid for the specified location. Select a different location." Now I don't even have a single Windows image I can work on.

Are there currently issues or is it something I am doing wrong? I'm afraid my free credit days are running out while being unable to utilise it and run my tests in the Azure environment.

(Any advice is appreciated. I am running similar tests on AWS as we are testing environments to roll out to our 10,000+ clients. I am new in my position and would like impress my manager, but am having a hard time right now!)
